Slot Missions in Hogwarts
Slot missions are an excellent way to earn gear weapons, equipment and more. But they're also hard to do.

Concealed Weapon Slot
The concealed weapon slot permits you to bring pistols into a mission. slot machine bonuses make use of it to reach certain goals, especially those who want to achieve Suit Only. The smuggled items slot is a good feature for allowing players to bring in tools and weapons, however it could benefit from a more streamlined affordance. It's currently shaped like an a gun, which makes it difficult to differentiate the weapon slot smuggled by smugglers from other gear slots.
The smuggle slot can be used to store a wide range of items ranging from concussion devices and weapons grade explosives to subtle concussions. These items can be found in a variety of hidden locations around the map. They can also be found anytime. Smuggled items are distinct from Agency Pickups and Hidden Stashes, which conceal only small items within the scenery or objects directly.
Mission planning is an option in missions that are episodic. It allows players to discover different starting points, smuggled objects and gear slots prior to entering the map. As players advance through challenges and unlock new Mission Mastery levels, these planning options increase. This allows players to design the perfect mission for each difficulty.
Gear Slot
The game's beginning players will notice their gear slots rapidly get full, resulting in the common "Your Gear Slots are Full" message, which blocks Max from picking new equipment until the old items are cleared or more space is obtained. The solution is the Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials which provide more inventory space in exchange for fulfilling challenging missions. However, since the majority of these challenges are scattered throughout the world and could be missed it could take some time to get the maximum number of inventory slots that are available in the game.
A player's five Gear Slots can be filled with up to five different gear types, which must be selected from the Gear Selection menu before a Break-In can begin. Each individual gear item (except the Pistol) takes up one Gear Slot while a set of similar items (like Grenades that are of the same type) only takes up one Gear Slot.
Agents can pick up the passengers.
As you progress through the Mission Mastery levels you unlock various agency pickups that are on the map. These locations let you keep items that do not fit in your concealed weapon or gear slots and then retrieve it later.
These pickups are especially useful if you need to pass through a frisk at the end of the course of your mission, or if you are carrying a weapon that could otherwise be suspect. You can only hide only one item at a pick-up location.
This DLC also includes new asset protection and security contracts to the agency. To begin these missions simply talk to the receptionist of the agency and purchase armor and snacks. Once you've reached the marker you can identify a crowd when you arrive.
